Marine Logistics
Operating a fleet of more than 80 vessels, Toll Marine Logistics offers customised solutions for bulk handling and transportation for coal, steel scrap, billets, iron ores and pellets, sand and aggregates.
As vessel owners, we provide chartering services to external parties in Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Myanmar.
To meet the unique logistics requirements of the industry, we have established a modern fleet of vessels that is customised and engineered for efficiency and cost effective operations.
Services
- Conventional tugs and barges are specially designed with shallow drafts to allow manoeuvring along rivers with shallow depth
- Self-discharging barge with a built-in sophisticated conveyor system, making it ideal for transporting coal to the anchorage for export via bigger mother vessels
- Self-propelled barge with the 360 degree retractable propulsion system and a bow thruster
- Landing craft designed to provide superior manoeuvrability and flexibility when navigating trough challenging waters, allowing loading and unloading to take place without a wharf
- Floating Terminal designed and engineered to discharge coal directly from barges to shore conveyor system, enhancing operational efficiency via seamless coal handling and transportation processes
- Floating crane; designed to reduce handling costs by discharging steel scrap and iron ore from deep-sea anchorages
- Floating Workshop and Maintenance Facility which resolves the problem of tight shipyard space; this vessel is designed with the capability of performing maintenance and minor repairs for the vessel fleet
Key Strengths
- Point to point logistics services - combining land, sea and air; and connecting Singapore and the region, particularly to remote locations such as Kalimantan, Papua New Guinea and Cambodia
- Strong marine operation excellence and the ability to operate under severe terrain, weather, limited infrastructure support and other restrictive conditions
- Fast and flexible to respond to specific customer requirements
- In-house capabilities to conceive, design and build customised vessels that meet specialised requirements with better than market cost and lead time – by leveraging upon partnerships with vendors and shipyards
